Bad News

Had a minor set back today.  So I take the day off do wait for my new camera (required a signature) among other things.  The camera gets here about 1:30 pm/ct.  I'm all excited, start opening up boxes... reading manuals... start taking a few pictures and then suddenly it all goes down hill.  The camera, a brand new canon 40D starts failing with an "error 99" code.  After doing some research I find out that this is a general "catch all" error and go through a number of things to try and troubleshoot.  After all is said and done it seems to be an issue with the camera/lens connections.  So back the camera goes, I'm currently waiting for the RMA in an email to send the camera back and have a replacement shipped.  I manage to snap a few pictures of Makyznie, I'll try to get them posted soon.  So the fun is over until the (next) new camera arrives.
