Last Thursday (8/23/07) was Makynzie's First day of Pre-School. She had to be there at 8:45 am. The day started with Brooke and I waking up around 7 I think and getting ready for the day. I had taken the day off so that I could take and pick her up. We woke Makynzie up around 8:00 am and she was very excited to go to school. She had breakfast and got dresses and we left the house around 8:30. Once we got to the school the first thing they do is find their name on the table and put their card in the basket so that the teaches know she was there today. Next they get to pick out a toy from the shelf and take it to the table. She started to play and look around at what the other kids were doing and Brooke and I slipped out the door. When it was time to pick her up the teacher said that she was very good and listened very well. On the way out to the car it started to down poor and we got a little wet. When we got home we asked her how her first day of school was and she said she had fun and she mentioned that a few of the kids got in trouble because they weren't listening and when it was story time they kept getting up and they didn't stay in their chair. Makynzie is excited to go back.
