Another Easter has come and gone. It was an early morning for me as I was the one to make preparations that would be enjoyment for Makynzie later on in the day. Makynzie got up around 7:45 and we then spent some time going through her Easter Basket. We looked at each new toy she got and played with a few. Shortly after 8:00 am Scott and Carla arrive bring some breakfast food. My parents arrived around 9:00 and we then ate breakfast and it on to the Egg Hunt. I only have a few pictures (of which I will post in the Gallery) because most of the time I was video taping. On a side note I am working on a way to share the video's so they will be posted soon. I could post the link here but I don't want the whole world to have access to it. The pictures should be posted tonight or tomorrow. Makynzie had a Blast looking for the eggs outside that were filled with either Money or Candy. Of course she was a little more excited when she opened the candy.
Once the Easter festivities were over we started the weekends Major Project of putting in a new front Storm Door. Now just know that there was nothing wrong with the original storm door so really there was no need to be replacing it other then Brooke wanted a new one. The new door was one of those that has the full Glass top to bottom.  The total time of the project took about 4 hours which is a little longer then expected for just putting in a new storm door but half the time was spent on adding additional framing so the door would fit. The old door was about 33" x 84", the new door was 32" x 81". We had looked everywhere but apparently the new standard for door heights is 80" or 81". It really wouldn't have been so bad but the weather was not helping with a high for the day of around 40 degrees. All in all the door is in and it works. Looks quite nice as well.
